FAQ

What is your photography style?

My style is documentary, unposed and natural wedding photography. I prefer to capture real moments throughout your day.

What type of camera/equipment do you use?

I use top of the range, professional of equipment that creates the best results!

Do you have back-up equipment?

Yes, I always have at least two cameras and multiple lenses, it’s exceptionally rare that a technical issue occurs but in the event that it does, I’m covered!

How do we book?

If you’d like to book me to photograph your wedding then you'll need to confirm how much coverage you'd like to go for and pay your £150 deposit via Bank Transfer.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. Many venues require the photographer to have Liability Insurance.

Can we have the RAW footage from the day?

There are a few reasons why I don’t offer raw footages.
Raw footage is straight out of the camera which is untouched, unedited, unstabilized. They are a very large file size. I shoot 100’s of clips and most clips are only several seconds long filled with lots of random shots, movements, shake, and noise. They are shot with a cinematic style in mind, meaning their purpose is to be complied together to tell a story. A single clip on its own will not do that, and most of them won’t make much sense on their own. There are lots of transition shots, where the camera is still rolling but I am moving from shooting one thing to the next. You’ll most likely see the ground and lots of shaking.
Along with wedding films, I offer full coverage of the ceremony and speeches.

If you still would like your raw footages, this can be purchased from me for £300 – supplied on external hard drive.

How many photos do you deliver per wedding?

It depends on what package you book and the nature of the event. For example, if you book my 10 hours package, you will receive a minimum of 500 photos from your wedding day.

Can you capture photo/video if my venue is very dark?

I have shot in a very dark reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, I will set up additional lighting to ensure I get focused pictures. Some venues do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, I shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses.

How long after the wedding will the photographs be ready?

Your images are ready within 6 to 8 weeks following the wedding and the videos within 8 to 10 weeks. I always aim to try and deliver them sooner than this if possible.

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

I understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. I never pack up before the contracted time, and moreover, I don't leave on the dot when the contracted time is up.
If you would like me to stay extra few hours then there will be an extra charge.

If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our retainer fee back?

Unfortunately no. Deposit are used to reserve your date. Once it's reserved, I do not accept new clients for your date.
Cancellation made in conjunction with COVID-19 such as government restrictions will be eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
